'Joker: Folie à Deux ' arrives as
the sequel to the hit film ' Joker ',
starring Joaquin Phoenix who won an Oscar for
his unforgettable portrayal of one of the most
iconic villains in the DC Comics universe.
This film will be released on October 4, 2024
in the United States and a day later in Latin America, five
years after the first installment that broke records.
It also has an R rating , meaning it
can only be viewed by adults as it will
contain “strong violence, sexuality and nudity ,” according to
the Motion Picture Association. Experts say it is aimed at a mature audience.
The sequel once again stars Joaquin Phoenix in
the role of Arthur Fleck , aka the Joker. Fans and critics
alike felt his return was essential to maintaining
the continuity and authenticity of the character that made
such a splash . Lady Gaga also joins the sequel as Harley
Quinn , the villain's sidekick and lover.

The film will have music as a fundamental
piece , so the presence of an artist with Gaga's

film will feature a jukebox-inspired musical style of 15 reinterpretations of

Its name is translated from French as
“ madness of two ,” but 'folie à deux' refers to a rare psychotic
disorder in which two closely related individuals simultaneously
share similar or identical delusions, according to the American Psychological
Association.
What will the plot be?
This part will tell the story of Arthur Fleck ,
who has been interned in Arkham awaiting trial for
his crimes as the Joker after creating chaos. While dealing
with his double identity, Arthur will not only find true love, but
also discover his fascination for music. So
it suggests a deep exploration of the relationship
between the 'Joker' and 'Harley Quinn'.
